Office Locations
The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology operates out of offices located in southwest and south-central Montana. From our locations on the Montana Tech campus in Butte and from downtown Billings, our staff travels the entire State to serve both rural and urban residents and their communities.
Butte
Natural Resources Building, 1505 West Park Street, Butte, Montana
Exit Interstate 15/90 at Montana Street (Exit I 126).
Drive north to Park Street (approximately 1.5 miles).
Turn west onto Park Street.
Travel to Marcus Daly's statue in the center of the street (approximately 0.8 miles).
Drive past the Marcus Daly Statue and follow Park Street past the HPER building and turn right.
This will take you into the parking lot of the Natural Resources Building, where you'll find the entrance to our Publications Office.
Billings
101 Grand Avenue, Billings, Montana
Take exit #446/I-90-BL/West Billings onto I-90-BL E toward City Center
Turn left onto 2nd St W.
Turn right onto Grand Ave.
Our offices are located on the northwest corner of Grand Avenue and 1st Street West.
Convenient parking is located in the lot adjacent to building.
