Using Surface Water Modeling to Address Water Management Challenges in the Pajaro Valley, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Sarah Beganskas, Ph.D. Temple University Wednesday, January 20, 2021 This talk will explore two applications of surface water modeling to address water management challenges. In the Pajaro Valley, California, collecting stormwater runoff to recharge aquifers is one new approach to ameliorate declining groundwater supply, and in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, green stormwater infrastructure is being built to reduce sediment pollution in urban streams. |
