Biography & Research Interests

Luke Buckley is a Data Scientist with the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology at Montana Tech. Since 1994, he has been in charge of designing, developing, and administrating the MBMG Data Center. The Data Center is comprised of 95 enterprise databases and more than 65 web applications, connecting users around the world to Montana's natural-resources data. In addition to degrees in Geological Engineering (A.S.E.), Mathematics (B.S.), and Technical Communications (M.S.), he has been a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional in Database Administration since 2007.
