Biography & Research Interests

Skyler is a geologist who uses geologic mapping, structural analysis, and geochronology to address tectonic problems and understand the history of important structural elements. His past research and mapping areas include northern Chile, the lower Colorado River corridor of Arizona and California, the Grand Canyon of Arizona, the South Park Basin of Colorado, and the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in western Washington state.
