| Description |
This file provides U-Pb zircon laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICPMS) geochronology data for rock samples from western Montana and eastern Idaho. All the samples were collected by personnel of the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG) or Idaho Geological Survey (IGS) collaborators in support of STATEMAP geologic mapping and miscellaneous research projects. Sample locations, attribute data, and a summary of analytical methods are provided in the file. Preliminary age determinations are provided for samples that yielded a coherent distribution of U-Pb dates.
